Tasting progression

First third

Intense flavour right at the start with lots of spice. Retained an even burn with impeccable construction creating stable ash.

Second third

Chocolate and cedar notes developed in combination with the remaining spice.

Final third

Spice faded and chocolate notes became the dominant flavour.

Final Verdict

A slightly unconventional offering compared to the rest of the Plasencia line-up, but well worth the experience for smokers who enjoy a spice-forward Honduran robusto.
